2021 Jeep Compass Review- A Worthy Competitive..

The Compass get an updated cabin with premium material while still retain its great Off-roading capabilities and driving feel .

When it was launch in 2017 , the Jeep Compass got off a rocking start thanks to highly desirable value of Jeep brand and the fact thay the Compass was the most affordable product from the American automaker in India.  The Jeep Compass did extremely well initially but the competition in the segments get intense and some relatively lower - priced suv like Hyundai Creta also stole the Compass Show,  It also lacks some features inspite being having high prices.  Come 2021 and the Jeep Compass has received its face-lift and given more Suv appeal. 

Exterior- 

The Jeep Compass face-lift proves that even the minor changes can enhance the looks.  Not much changes here apart from the sleeker grille, revised headlamps and taillight and refreshed bumpers . The Compass get a chunky wheel which is dual tone diamond cut alloys ,a dark green and dark blue shade which looks more tasteful.  The Compass is surely a looker and Boasts up of a good road presence too.






Interior -

The cabin is where the new Compass really outshines the pre face-lift model , The dashboard is all new , the layout of the interior has been majorly worked on the overall quality of materials all around and the cabin is now feels quite premium and rich,  unlike the older models which felt basic and also outdated.  There is plenty of chrome,  leather and piano black inserts in cabin and Jeep is offering two colors schemes- fully black with chrome highlights and a lighter theme with a mixture of black,  brown and Grey.




The biggest change are found inside the cabin in term of new and better materials along with updated equipment..

Sitting atop revised centre console is a large 10.1 inch touchscreen which is not only bigger than before but also responsive and user friendly ( lower varient gets a 8.4 inch screen) . The infotainment is married to 9 amplified speakers along with a subwoofer and the sound quality is indeed good . Some other features on this SUV include front ventilated seats, 8 way Powered front seats , memory function for driver's seat,  Panoramic Sunroof and even a 360 Degree camera . Safety Features like 6 airbags,  ABS with EBD,ISOFIX Child seats Mount , Electronic Roll Mitigation,  Traction Contro, Electronic Parking Brake and Hill Start assistance. 


Though not that wide rear seats offer a great comfort and support. 

The Jeep Compass gets extremely comfortable seats that are shaped well , offers great support and boast of upholstery which feels really goods , The front seats hold you in place very nicely and the cushioning isn't a very soft . The rear seat too feel quite confy and space is descent in cabin,  Legroom is more then enough,  headroom is good , but Compass  isn't as wide as some of its rivals. Three passengers at rear seat could be tight. 




Some Interesting Features in Jeep Compass.....

4×4 Mode ( Not available on Petrol varient, Diesal AT) in high trim with 4×4 low mode ,1.4 Litre Multiair Turbo Petrol and 2.0 Multijet Diesal Engine.  This engine is shared by MG Hector and Tata Harrier. There are different modes like Auto,  Snow, Sand/Mud and Latter Mode too.
